Who Can Participate
Any current Liana Banyan Member may participate in the Pnyx. Membership is $5/year — the most affordable governance stake in any cooperative on earth.
Your First Deliberation
When you join the Pnyx, you receive:
- Standing — your voice is recognized in all deliberations
- Vote credential — one vote per active Membership year
- Proposal right — you may submit one Proposal per 30-day period
- Receipt access — you may request canonical receipts for any decision
How to Engage
Read First
Browse open Proposals and active deliberations. Read the canonical record of past decisions. Understand the platform’s governance history before you vote.
Respond
Add your voice to deliberations that matter to you. Responses are logged with your Member credential (anonymous to other Members, visible to you in your receipt).
Propose
When you see a gap, a problem, or an opportunity the platform hasn’t addressed — submit a Proposal. Good Proposals are specific, practical, and cross-referenced to existing initiatives.
Vote
Every active deliberation has a voting window. Cast your vote. Request your receipt. Know your voice was counted.
The Cooperative Compact
By participating in the Pnyx, you affirm:
- You are a current Liana Banyan Member
- You will engage in good faith
- You accept that decisions made by the cooperative are binding on the platform
- You understand that the Pnyx is a governance body, not a comment section
