Join Bruck’lyn

Find Your Node

Search for an existing Bruck’lyn node in your neighborhood. If one exists, joining is simple: your Liana Banyan Membership ($5/year) gives you automatic standing in your local node.

Start a Node

If no node exists in your neighborhood, you can start one.

Requirements:

  • You must be a current Liana Banyan Member
  • You need at least 4 other Members to join you (5 total to activate)
  • You need a neighborhood anchor (a geographic identifier)

What you get:

  • A local cooperative node registered to your neighborhood
  • Access to the full Bruck’lyn stack (commerce, mutual aid, governance)
  • Your neighborhood’s data stays with your neighborhood
  • Node Founder status (logged to substrate, canonical)

The First 90 Days

Bruck’lyn nodes that complete the 90-day activation sprint receive:

  • Founding Node recognition — canonical record in the Liana Banyan substrate
  • Bonus Marks — cooperative currency distributed to all founding Members
  • Pattern publication — your node’s innovations documented and shared

What You Commit To

Starting a Bruck’lyn node means:

  • Holding your first local Pnyx within 30 days
  • Logging at least 3 cooperative transactions in the first 90 days
  • Recruiting at least 2 new Members in the first 90 days

These are minimums. Every node that hits them survives. Most do more.

Your neighborhood is already a cooperative. It just doesn’t know it yet.
