Abstract

On June 19th, 2026, a 16-minute build session delivered five parallel build streams, three commits (0d00333, b415a24, 80cd33a), three Edge Functions, and four Firebase deploys while consuming 43% of a 200,000-token context window. The prior baseline (BP063, no cooperative substrate, one build session) consumed 86% of the same window size and still produced errors.

Normalizing by work per token: the BP087 session delivered approximately 10x the work at approximately half the token cost.

The Comparison (Founder-Verbatim, BP087)

SessionSubstrateBuild streamsContext usedOutcome
BP063 baselineNone186% of 200K (~172K tokens)Botch
BP087 receiptFull cooperative substrate5 (parallel)43% of 200K (<86K tokens)3 commits shipped, mesh live

The ~10x compounding figure normalizes by work-per-token. It is not a projection. It is a measured receipt, verbatim from the Founder, confirmed against session logs.

Mechanism

The cooperative substrate holds canonical state across sessions. Schema, architectural decisions, naming locks, ratified receipts, and yoke scopes live on disk and are re-read at session open rather than re-derived in context. Five parallel streams share one amortized canonical state. Token cost does not scale linearly with work count. The savings compound with parallelism.
